Terms of Service
Last updated: May 5, 2026.
These terms govern your use of the DevsBox website. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes are reflected in the “last updated” date above.
Acceptable use
The tools are offered free of charge for lawful, individual, and commercial development work. You agree not to use the site to attempt unauthorized access to other systems, scrape the tools at industrial volume, deploy automated abusive traffic, distribute malware, or interfere with the availability of the site for other users. We reserve the right to rate-limit or block traffic that endangers the service.
No warranty on tool output
Tool output is provided on an “as is” basis. The tools cover common developer transformations (formatting, encoding, decoding, hashing, diffing, regex testing, and similar) and aim to follow the relevant specifications, but they are not certified, audited, or suitable for safety-critical, financial, legal, medical, compliance, or security-critical decisions. You are responsible for verifying the output before using it in a production context. In particular: hash and JWT outputs should never be used as the sole authentication mechanism in a system you operate, and the regex tester is for development experimentation, not for input sanitization in production code paths.
Intellectual property
The site’s code, copy, layout, and visual design are owned by the maintainers. You may use the tools and quote short passages of the documentation with attribution. Bulk republication, mirrored copies, or training of derivative tools using the site’s code or content is not permitted without prior written permission.
Advertising
The site is supported by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are served programmatically; we do not personally curate, endorse, or vet individual advertisers. If you encounter an ad you believe violates Google’s advertising policies, please report it via the contact email so the placement can be reviewed and flagged to Google if needed.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or any tool output. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the site.
